It’s been freezing cold, it’s been snowy and blowy & it’s the time of year that the winter blues really set in. We begin to wonder, will we ever see that green grass and those sandy Lake Huron shores again?

Do not fret! Here comes the sun!

This 4-level side split home offers the most perfect yard to spend long summer days in, while also providing a fantastic interior for hibernation.

358 Waterloo Street is located in a quiet and mature area of Port Elgin, great for large and growing families. It sits atop a very sizeable 82’ x 123’ [fenced in] lot. While the front yard has well-maintained curb appeal and is quite welcoming, the backyard is where it’s at! (So, it’s basically mullet-style; you know? Business in the front, party in the back…!) There is an excellent entertaining area with an awning that is perfect for family reunions or big summer BBQs with all your friends. Even better? Make it a pool party with the heated in-ground pool! There is lots of space for the children and pets to run around and a spacious detached garage/shop with a 60 amp service. It really has everything! You’ll barely spend anytime indoors.

But, when winter hits, the shelter will be necessary of course! And this particular property is great for families as it provides enough space for everyone to have their own little corner (because we all know that being trapped inside for days at a time can be a little bit difficult). There are 3+1 Bedrooms and 2 Baths in total. The living room/dining room/updated kitchen on the main level is made extra cozy with a three-sided natural gas fireplace; you can also watch the snow fall through a large front window or through the sliding patio doors. The 3rd floor family room is heated by a 2nd natural gas fireplace and is the perfect place for the children to chill out (see what I did there?) The laundry room is located on the 4th level as well as an additional rec room, most likely where you would find a brooding teenager that isn’t really into family game night. So when you’re sad that you can’t be outdoors, soaking up the sun, be happy you can be indoors in THIS lovely home!

In the eloquent words of John Mayer, ‘cause a little bit of summer is what the whole year is all about.’ So just envision yourself & your family, lying by the pool with delicious sangria in hand & the children splashing and giggling in the pool. Can it get much better than that?

Cheers
